10th Annual State Farm Run

ABOUT THE COURSE -- The race will begin at the State Farm Regional Office at 222 South 84th Street.  The longer races begin by making a loop around the building, then head south on 84th street to the Mo-Pac trail.  Next, turn east and head out on the limestone trail. You'll enjoy the beauty of the country while running on a fast, flat course that should make for a scenic trip away from the city.  

A race information sheet will be provided along with a map of the course.

The 1 mile race is two laps around the building.  This is the first race in the Kid's Grand Prix series.

TIME CUT-OFF -- Official timing will cease at 11:15 am (or shortly thereafter).  If you cannot complete the 10-mile run under two hours and 15 minutes (13:30 minute/mile pace) then you may want to consider participating in the 5K instead.

AWARDS
All participants will receive a long sleeved t-shirt

10 Mile: The first three finishing male and female participants will receive a $100, $75 and $50 gift certificate to the Lincoln Running Company.  Age groups for the 10 mile races are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over. The top three in each age group will win gift certificates of $20, $15, and $10 respectively.

5K: The first two finishing male and female participants will receive a $50 and $25 gift certificate to the Lincoln Running Company.  Age group awards do not apply.

1 Mile: Awards to participants 12 years old and under only, but the race is open to all.

TO ENTER -- All runners must complete and sign an entry form and waiver.  Entry fees, if received or postmarked by March 21, 2008, are $20 for the 10-Mile and 5K, $10 for the 1-Mile.  After March 21, a late fee of $5 extra for all races.  Last day to register is at packet pickup on Friday.  No race day entries.  If you haven't registered by Tuesday, March 25, please register on Friday at packet pickup instead of by mail.  In the past, we've gotten entries arriving in the mail on Saturday (after the race was over).

PACKET PICK-UP -- Friday, March 28: 10 am to 6:00 pm, State Farm Insurance, 222 South 84th Street, Main Entrance North Building.  Day of Race: 7:30 - 8:30 am.
