ABOUT THE COURSE -- Both races will start on the west ramp of the Lincoln Airport
near NW 36th Street and West Mathis. This course includes running or
walking on the airport taxiways of the Lincoln Airport . . . a unique experience!
ENTRY FEE -- $15 if
postmarked by Thursday, July 28th, $25 after July 28th, No entries accepted on race
day.

The race will
be held on the west side of the Lincoln Municipal Airport near the intersections
of West Mathis and NW 36th Streets. From NW 48th Street turn east onto
West Mathis Street and proceed to NW 36th Street. Turn right and follow
the signs to the designated parking areas.
AWARDS - All entrants will receive a commemorative Thunder Run t-shirt.
5K Run - The first two male and female finishers will receive a
$50 and $25 gift certificate to the Lincoln Running Company.
1-Mile Children's Run - Prizes and gifts to all participants.
Age Group Awards -- Age
groups for the 5K race are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29,
30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over. The top three in each age group will win gift certificates of
$20, $15, and $10 respectively from the Lincoln Running Company.
KID'S GRAND PRIX -- The Kid's 1 Mile Run will be the
sixth run in the Kid's Grand
Prix series. This special program for elementary school children
provides prizes based upon participation in selected LTC races.

LTC Introduces bib tag technology... PLEASE READ
Your “bibtag” is placed on the back of your race
bib. It must be correctly worn for your race time
to be accurately captured.
• Do not remove the “bibtag” from your bib.
• Do not fold your bib or excessively bend or
twist the “bibtag.”
• Wear your bib on your chest/abdomen.
• Do not wear on your back, side, leg or arm.
• Always keep your bib visible, do not cover
with a jacket.
• Do not attach beside/under/over a zipper.
Metal has a negative impact on the
“bibtag.”
• Do not cover your bib or “bibtag” with
your hand/arm when crossing the finish line
(runners often do this as they bring up their
arm to check their watch while crossing the
line).
• Always remember that the timing mat must
“see” your bib when crossing the start/finish
line.
NOTE: Animals, strollers,
rollerblades, skates and headphones are not
permitted upon the running course. The use of a personal music device is
strongly discouraged. The Lincoln Track Club encourages a headphone-free
environment during the running of our races. This is so that you may enjoy
all that our races have to offer as well as for the protection of all our
participants.
