December 2011 Runners World featuring Dawson Coon

9 Year Old Dawson Coon of Geneva, NE was featured on the cover of the December 2011 Runner’s World magazine.

Dawson is the youngest person to ever appear on the cover and have a feature written about him. Not only is Dawson a long distance runner, but he nearly died when he was 2 1/2 due to meningitis and a case of Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM).
