ABOUT THE COURSE

The race will begin at State Farm, 222 South 84th Street. The longer races begin by making a loop around the building, then head south on 84th street to the Mo-Pac trail. Next, turn east and head out on the limestone trail. You’ll enjoy the beauty of the country while running on a fast, flat course that should make for a scenic trip away from the city.

A race information sheet will be provided, along with a map of the course.

The 1 mile race is two laps around the building.  This is the first race in the Kids Grand Prix series.

AWARDS

All participants will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt.

10-Mile: The first three finishing male and female participants will receive a $100, $75 and $50 gift certificate to the Lincoln Running Co. Age groups for the 10 mile races are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over. The top three in each age group will win gift certificates of $20, $15, and $10 respectively.

5K: The first two finishing male and female participants will receive a $50 and $25 gift certificate to the Lincoln Running Company. Age group awards do not apply.

1-Mile: Awards to participants 12 years old and under only, but the race is open to all.

KIDS GRAND PRIX

The State Farm Run is the first event of the Kids Grand Prix. Grand Prix runners should enter online and pay the normal entry fee; Kids 12 and under are $6; Kids 13 and older are $10.

1 Mile – 8:30 am
10 Mile – 9:00 am
5K – 9:10 am
All races start and finish at the State Farm Regional Office at 222 South 84th Street.

TO ENTER

All runners must complete the online entry process. Entry fees completed by 5:00pm (central time zone) March 20th, 2013 are $20 for the 10-Mile and 5K, $10 for the 1-Mile. After 5:00pm (central time zone) March 20th, 2013 a late fee of $10 extra will be charges for all races. NO RACE DAY ENTRIES. If you haven’t registered before registration closes, there will be one final opportunity to register in person at packet pick-up on Friday, March 22. NO FAX or PHONE IN ENTRIES!

PACKET PICKUP

Friday, March 22: 10 am to 6:00 pm, State Farm Insurance, 222 South 84th Street, Main Entrance North Building. Day of Race: 7:30 – 8:30 am.
