Holiday Run Raises $3,000 for Humane Society

The Lincoln Track Club wants to thank everyone – both the two-legged and four-legged – who turned out to participate in the 21st annual Holiday Run. The event, which is held in support of the Capital Humane Society, raised just over $3,000.

There were 300 participants and about one dog for every two humans! It was great fun to see everyone dressed for the holidays and enjoying a rare 50-degree December day at beautiful Pioneers Park.

Again, thanks to all the runners and walkers. You know how to bring the holiday spirit!

See you March 26 for the first LTC race of 2022, the Spring Forward!
