WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE PEPSI KIDS’ GRAND PRIX?

All students through sixth grade at the time of the first race in March 2020 are eligible to participate. If you enter any of the five events, you are automatically part of the Pepsi Kids’ Grand Prix. Entry information is available under “Races” on this website.

WHICH RACES ARE PART OF THE PEPSI KIDS’ GRAND PRIX?

All of the Lincoln Track Club races listed below are part of the grand prix. You only have to complete four of the five events to be a Grand Slammer. We encourage you to run the shorter distance of each race, but the choice is yours. Note: The shortest distance for each race is listed below, and if you run the longer distances you will have to pay the full adult fee. This differential is intended to cover the higher cost of course support, time tracking, and permits for the full distance.

March 28 | Tabitha Run | 1 mile
May 2 | Mayor’s Run | 1 mile
June 6 | Havelock Run | 3K (1.86 miles)
July 12 | Lincoln Mile | 1 mile
December 6 | Holiday Run | 1 mile

WHAT CAN I WIN?

Participants will receive a different prize upon completion of each of the five Kids’ Grand Prix events. Anyone who completes four or more races will receive a Grand Slammer award (see below).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RUN?

Each run has a discounted entry fee of $8.00 for the shortest distance race. When you register you will note your age on the entry form to receive the discount.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE FOR BEING A GRAND SLAMMER?

If you complete four of the five events, you will receive a Grand Slammer T-shirt and a plaque with your individualized race results indicating that you are a 2020 Grand Slammer.

If one of the five events is cancelled for some reason, completing three of the four remaining races will qualify for Grand Slammer status.
