Nancy Sutton Moss and Gary Bredehoft, co-directors of the 39th Annual Lincoln National Guard Marathon and Half Marathon, are excited to have you running in Lincoln, Nebraska on Sunday, May 1. As veteran race directors, they know you have questions and in the next series of emails, they are going to answer the most frequently asked questions they receive. They have also compiled a FAQ section on the marathon website if you can't wait for parts two and three.Packet Pickup and Runners ExpoMarathon weekend officially begins on Friday, April 29 with the start of packet pickup and the Runners Expo. We are pleased to once again partner with the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel as race headquarters. Located at 313 S 13th Street, packet pickup and the Runners Expo will be held on two levels of their convention center on both Friday and Saturday. Hours for packet pickup and the Runners Expo are:

  • Friday, April 29: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Packets can be picked up in the lower level of the convention center on Friday and Saturday and will also be available from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the NU Coliseum on race day. In order to pick up your packet, please know your race number and bring a photo ID. If someone else is picking up your packet, they will need to know your race number, show a photo ID and bring a completed Packet Pickup Proxy form.Packets must be picked up in person...they cannot be mailed. The Runners Expo will be held on the first level of the convention center on Friday and Saturday and features over 56 vendors with the latest in running and fitness gear as well as health and wellness information. If you need to exchange your race technical shirt, there will be a booth in the expo. There will also be a photo backdrop set up in the lobby for you to commemorate the moment with your running friends and family.Switching RacesDid you register for the full marathon but need to switch to the half marathon? Let us know! Fill out this online form so we can make the change in our database.If you registered for the half but want to run the full, please contact us so we can send you instructions as you will need to pay an additional fee.I Am Unable To RunLet us know if you are not able to run the 2016 Lincoln National Guard Marathon and Half Marathon by completing this online form. Your bib will no longer be active and will not be tracked within the timing system once the form is submitted. Unfortunately, there is a no refund policy if you cannot run.PastathonDon't forget to properly fuel your body before the big race at the annual Pastathon which will be held at the Champions Club, 707 Stadium Drive, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. The cost of the Pastathon is covered in your registration and is open for runners and their families.KFRX Mayor's Run sponsored by Sandhills PublishingTo make marathon weekend a family-friendly event, the Lincoln Track Club schedule includes a race specifically for kids sixth grade and under. The 29th Annual KFRX Mayor's Run sponsored by Sandhills Publishing will be held on Saturday, April 30 with six, 1-mile heats looping around the iconic Nebraska State capitol building. The largest kids run in the region, this is a great way for your kids to be a part of the Lincoln National Guard Marathon and Half Marathon weekend. Register online to guarantee a race t-shirt designed by one of this year's runners.This year the Lincoln Track Club, KFRX and Sandhills Publishing team up to support Harvest of Books which will receive $1 from each Mayor’s Run entry.Online registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Entry fee for the Mayor's Run is $8 making this the best race deal in town! The Mayor's Run is also the third race in the Kids' Grand Prix series. All runners must register online through GetMeRegistered.com; there will be NO FAX or PHONE entries.Volunteers NeededIt takes several volunteers to run a race.
